audioWAV brings a fragrant addition to its service offerings with the soft launching of WAV Scents, a scent-marketing service, during the premiere of Ayala Museum’s newest exhibit held recently.
The inaugural event which drew the elite of Manila and Bacolod City was held side-by-side Eduardo “Toto” Sicangco’s exhibit, “From Inspiration to Illusion”, featuring works of the famed Bacolodnon scenographic artist whose designs have been showcased in Broadway and Hollywood films.
WAV Scents is a new marketing medium aiming to promote better brand recall through customized scents. This is a new take at sensory branding which audioWAV, as a leading provider of non-traditional advertising solutions, has been engaged in.
A recent article on the Los Angeles Times website cites published materials from the Journal of Marketing and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services that support the influence of scent on shoppers. It says that the right scent can make shoppers spend more time and money in a store and make them pay more attention to a brand.
This, in conjunction with audioWAV’s instore radio services, can help create better brand awareness and a better shopping experience.
